A student is considered completely registered once they have submitted all of the following:
- All required immunization forms
- Complete lunch application
- Both residency documents
- Online Registration Packet
Any student not fully registered by August 14th will not be allowed to attend classes.
Please check with your school counselor if you’re not sure if your child is completely registered.

On April 14, 2023, The H.W. Byers campus administration received a report of a student making a threatening statements. The Marshall County Campus Police have investigated the threat, and appropriate authorities are involved. Measures have been taken to ensure the safety of all students in regard to this matter. The Marshall County School District is grateful for the support of concerned community members to help keep our campuses safe.
We would like to say how much we appreciate our Librarian, Jennifer Blalock, and our Librarian Assistant, Bernice Briggs. Our school counts on these ladies for so many things and they are always so friendly and helpful to students, teachers, staff, and administrators. Thank you ladies for all you do for HW Byers School! We appreciate you both! Happy School Librarian Day!!!
Reminder in regards to students arriving late to school:
The Marshall County School District will dismiss at 12:45 today, April 5, 2023 due to the threat of inclement weather. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we want to get students home before the severe weather moves in. The line of storms coming in has produced tornadoes in other states and we want students home before those storms arrive into our area.
