Thomas Clayton Peters has been named the STAR Student for the 2025-2026 school year by the Mississippi Economic Council (MEC), the sponsor of the Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) program.
The STAR program recognizes outstanding students and teachers throughout Mississippi. STAR Students are selected based on academic excellence and their American College Test scores. Each STAR Student is asked to designate a STAR Teacher, the teacher who has made the greatest contribution to the student’s scholastic achievement. Thomas selected Mrs. Lisa Taylor for this distinguished recognition as a STAR Teacher.
Let's congratulate these two individuals for a job well done.
